curriculum changes
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
No, this hasn't happened to me before, since I teach in a state which has state standards which are supposed to be applied uniformly throughout the grade levels and throughout the state. Fortunately, we could not have this
happen to us.
However, we did have textbook changes this year, but (also) fortunately we were allowed to vote on the textbooks we were adopting.

The one thing our principal suddenly changed without asking the teachers, and which upset them, was the new Four Block lesson plan book. He presented it at our very last faculty meeting, and nobody liked the idea that they would have to

handwrite lesson plans again. (Everybody had been doing them their way on the computer.) It will be interesting to see if he insists that we use them this year!
