I have very similar feelings to the other posts. The custodians at our school are respected and an integral part of our building. I appreciate roles and lines of authority being clear, but I think we have to be very careful when we start talking "heirarchy" -- my inclination when I hear that word is that one person is being valued at the expense of another.
