Re: Custodial Staff

I am often in my room working when the evening custodians come in. It doesn't bother me at all. She is not in for a long time - just long enough to sweep and empty the trash.
We chit chat some, we generally talk about our families. I have developed a nice relationship with all the staff.And, the custodians have really helped me out several times. They have gotten me special supplies, helped fix things in my room extra fast.
My school is small, and many of the younger teachers have taken an agressive part -- everything is done in teams, so I really haven't had any heirarchial problems. We do have grade leaders, though.
