I think the two weeks plan is good, with a added general outline of topics to be covered or units to be finished -- especially if the leave is during any testing. (So that the sub knows what has been covered already and what hasn't)Everyone teaches differently, programs pop up. I think it would be less stressful for the teacher who is pregnant and the substitute (If he or she is new, this would be great experience for them.) Maybe weekly updates on the phone or through email for advice etc.
