Maternity Lesson Plans
By RTH

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with you. Two weeks of lesson plans should help the sub have time to get to know the class and be ready to plan for the remainder of the leave.

I have a long range plan each year as well as weekly lesson plans. The long range plan is much more general, but does guide me in assuring that I complete the required curriculum within the year. It includes what social studies units, writing skills, math concepts, etc. I plan to teach during each month of the year.

Maybe leaving your long range plan for the year along with the two weeks of weekly plans would meet your district's requirements.
