I have suffered the consequences of the dirty politics more often than I care to remember. The scenario is as follows: new principal trying hard to prove himself. Tough school which is hard for said principal to control.| New teacher comes along - gets blamed for the mistakes and problems of the school so that principal doesn't appear to be the one to blame. I bailed out early in the year from a school like this. I didn't care that I would probably never be hired by that district again. The next school I went to was just as bad, and the same situation exactly. I am now in a different school where | | I hope this doesn't happen again. New principal, tough school. I guess the moral of the story is to stay away from tough schools with brand-new principals. Unfortunately, where I live, the tough schools are the majority of schools and beggers can't be choosers.
