Reacting to Jennifer
By Kimes

Clip to ScrapBook
I quit visiting Proteacher for a long time because I was so very tired and saddened by the sniping and evidence of the ridiculous notion that some people have decided that they are now experts in "reading between the lines"
and making judgements based on their own interpretation of what someone has written. First of all, unless it is a direct attack, how are you really sure of the writer's intent? Second, those of you who respond offensively are putting yourselves in the very same category as those whom you are condemning. Read it and move on. I returned to this site, and I was greeted with a silly game
called "TAG". A long, long time ago, it was refered to as a witch hunt - a condemnation based on personal insecurities and mob rule. Abraham Lincoln: "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." Think about where your responses are coming from before you respond and make up your mind to be happy, not negative.
