Please don't interpret my question as being nosy, I am just curious--$60,000 is alot of money for the years you have been teaching (at least in my part of the Northeastern U.S.) What is the starting salary in Canada with and without a masters? How is the cost of living? How are your benefits and working conditions? Most of the teachers where we work don't make that kind of money until they have close to 20 years under their belt. And this is a very naive question, so please forgive my ignorance, how does that $60,000 compare to American currency--is it equitable, more, or less--I am ashamed to say I know so little about my Canadian neighbors. Thanks for sharing, and as always, thanks for your useful advice on this board. Enjoy your week!
