Just wanted to say thanks for your reply. Today was better. I talked to my principal and got rid of some of the students who aren't failing anything. At least that gets my student/teacher ratio down a little. I have decided to try doing my Writer's Workshop with them next week. There will be 6 centers and at least they will get to move around some and talk. They will be doing some individual work and some group work. Maybe this will help.Thanks for your advice!! I will sure try the food trick. I am sure anything will help. Have a great summer and good luck to you!!!
