I agree with Barb and the points she made. I started grad school in special ed Spring 1996 and finished May 2000 by taking 3 hrs/semester and 8 hrs one summer. It went faster than I thought it would. I wish I would have had someone doing it with me. I commuted 80 miles each way, and it would have been nice to have had someone with whom to discuss class lectures. I'm working on my MA plus 15 now. Being a student yourself sort of gives you a more empathetic view of your students. I think I'll probably keep on taking classes, if only to stay younger. Keep on rowing.
