Don't let the turkeys get you down!!
By Becky

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi everyone,
As much as we should ignore this individual's behavior which has an obvious hostile tone to it, I think that it's important to be able to respond to someone when they are insulting you.
I find is FRIGHTENING
that this person is a teacher. It's very clear that "OhGetReal" is an unhappy person who wants others to feel the same way that he/she does.
How do you think that he/she handles conflict resolution in the classroom? Are her/his students taught to lash out insults to feel as though they have "won" an argument?
Who knows? Maybe "OhGetReal" does find humor in all of this (which
is PATHETIC).
Maybe we should just drop it and move on.
On a lighter note.....
I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer vacations! We are all excellent teachers who take the time out to improve ourselves professionally. It's obvious by the questions that we post and the advice that we give!
Bravo to all of you REAL teachers!
Becky
P.S. Candice, it's clear by the way that you respond to OhGetReal's posts that YOU are the mature one!
