    "T-Shirts"

    I use a t-shirt template I made and cut out 25 t-shirts from white art paper. Then I use a white crayon and write each child's name on the shirt. Then the students use watercolors to design their t-shirt. When they paint over the white crayon their name "magically" appears on the shirt. I get such a kick out of watching their faces! Then we hang them out to display on a clothesline with clothes pins that are under a sign that says "Look Who is Hanging Out in 2nd Grade This Year!!"
