messy desk
By Ginny

Clip to ScrapBook
I solved my messy desk problem by getting a small "supply cabinet." This can be purchased at any ofice supply store or even Sam's Wholesale Club. It is about 3 feet tall and just over 1 1/2-2 feet square and is on wheels. It has three small drawers on the top and two larger ones on the bottom. I applied labels to the outside of each drawer. For instance drawer 1: stickers and stamps; 2: post-it notes, markers, and pens; 3: misc. personal items (nail file/clippers, chapstick, etc; 4: cards, large note pads, envelopes, 5: glue gun, glue sticks, tape, etc.

This has tremendously helped me. I can easily tell children to get something from the supply cabinet without them going near my desk and really personal items.
