Congratulations

First of all, congratulations! You sound like a very dedicated and compassionate teacher. It is wonderful to see a teacher so happy with teaching and you are obviously well received by your students and their parents. It does sound like some are jealous of your award. Sometimes teachers can be very competitive and when another receives recognition especially as soon as you have in your career, it can be difficult for teachers who have taught several years without this honor. The most important thing is to keep your enthusiasm for teaching and do your job as you normally do. Being nice and pleasant will make it difficult for teachers to find fault.
Keep up the great work. Enjoy your summer!
