Sometimes it is hard for people to be happy for other people. I would have expected something like that to happen -- most people's fevorite subjects are, surprise, themselves! Not you, not me, not Oprah (sometimes). Anyway,| If YOU win an award, maybe THEY weren't doing something right? They are so busy wondering about themselves, they could never be happy for someone else. But, some people can. Another thing, this is just me, other people can be different, but I would just never mention it. It is great that you won it, and apparently everyone knows it.
