Angie--you are right! I did not mean any offense to home-schooling parents--you are indeed professionals and teachers. My point, however, and perhaps not stated as clearly as I should have) is that this board should be used for professional purposes. Plenty of home-school teachers come to this board for ideas, advice, and to vent (and rightfully so, they are more than welcome). But ohgetreal is not using the board professionally, and I guess that is why I felt compelled to refer to the user tip. Thanks for pointing it out to me. But I am still confused as to the original response on field trips!
