While I agree, it is often the nature of the posts that lead to other "threads". These threads happen within the conversation that is initially started, consequently they remain within this original post. I think that is simply the nature of these "chat boards"--one conversation simply leads to another, and to post my comment on an entirely different thread would establish a disconnection with the previous points being made about degrees being dumbed down. I am not venting about teacher professionalism and competence. I am responding to an earlier post made within this thread. If my response is off the original topic (and I admit it is), then that is because that is where one thread to this conversation is leading--I apologize if this offended you.
