I would transfer By Cher

I would fill out the transfer. I would also talk to the principal and explain that second grade is really where you would like to be. Explain that it is not a problem with him or anything but that you must follow your heart to where you need to be.

I would keep it friendly. I don't really see filing a transfer as a "tantrum". We all have our grade preferences and we do our best in those areas.
