chatty group
By Amy L.

Clip to ScrapBook
How fun to have a great group of kids! and how wearing it can be when they're so chatty and unfocused with learning. The trick will be to have activities planned that allow kids to be sociable and productive at the same time. Do your kids engage in cooperative learning or project-based activities? Withing these, they'd have specific tasks/roles, which would give their talking a focus, as well as responsibility for learning. I've found that the more engaged/busy they are on an activity, the less off-task they are. Good luck.
