travel expenses
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
I think it depends upon where you interview. In areas where there is a teacher shortage, they seem to be willing to pay for your travel expenses. I live in North Carolina now, and some of the districts OFFER up-front to pay travel expenses. If they do not offer, then I wouldn't ask them.

By the way, when I considered interviewing in Las Vegas, the Clark County School District offered to pay for my plane fare from Allentown, Pennsylvania, my hometown airport, to Las Vegas. They also offered to pay for my hotel expenses while I was staying in the city and interviewing.
