I think that it is your responsibility to pay for your own expenses. You are right---it is your choice to make, and not the responsibility of the Board of Ed. to pay your expenses. I have interviewed out of state before, and I had to pay out of pocket. I don't think you would be looked at in a good light if you asked for money to pay for your trip. This is only my opinion
