Scholastic Warehouse Sale and Half Price Books
By ConnieWI

Clip to ScrapBook
In my area, Scholastic is having a warehouse sale beginning this week. I would google "Scholastic Warehouse Sale" and then check for the sale in your area. You can get a fast-past coupon and $10 off coupon with a purchase
of $50 or more. You can also shop with a purchase order from your district. You do not get book order points for this sale, but the prices are wonderful!! They are trying to get rid of items left over from last year's book fairs.

I also like to visit Half Price Books. They do have a teacher discount card you can get, but I am not sure what percent off it gives you.

Before
doing any shopping, be sure to check with your district to find out what their procedure is on this purchase. As of last year in my district, we could not longer turn in receipts. We needed a purchase order from the district before shopping.

I recommend:
--Magic School Bus picture books and chapter books.
--Magic Tree House books.
--Junie B. Jones books.
--Judy Moody books.
--Narnia books (C. S. Lewis).
--Captain Underpants.
--Boxcar Children books.
--Secrets of Droon books.
--Jewel Fairy, Rainbow Magic, Weather Fairy, and Pet Fairy books.
--Black Lagoon picture and chapter books.
--books by Patricia Polacco, Steven Kellogg (his tall tales are wonderful), Tomie DePaola, Beverly Cleary, Matt Christopher (sports stories), and David Adler.
