in my first school (25 years ago) that I was teaching in, the administration did an all call for a staff meeting in the library. We had a front and back building. While we were at our meeting in the front building, someone who was walking by the school went to the back building and took all the wallets he could find. The amazing thing was it was Thursday before our payday. He pretty much walked away with a couple dollars.
I do bring my purse, but I do lock it up.
