Thanks. I like the idea of having the kids do a brochure of a trip through a cell. Actually, one of my more inventive students decided to do just that when I assigned the picture book for classwork. It turned out really cute. She started out as if she were the tour guide who was taking us on an adventure through the cell. I guess this might have been inspired by the "Magic School Bus" series. Have you ever read any of those? Anyway, I would appreciate any additional information you could give about the cell brochure. I am always happy to do activities other than the trite worksheets. My principal does, too.
