Grow Your Own By Judy W
|
|
You can grow your own specimins in two or so weeks if you wish. Put some grass clippings or hay in a jar, fill the jar with pond water or water from an aquarium. Put the jar outside in a well lighted place. You should be able to find the microscopic animals in a short time. When I have ordered live critters, what I actually received was a little card to mail in with a requested arrival date on it. I am at the mercy of the delivery services because of our rural location so I have learned to anticipate delivery after school and so on.
