Clip to ScrapBook
I don't think boards of education and school districts have yet given science education the importance it deserves. In Utah I have just received money to buy a new math text with consumable workbooks, Internet access, etc. But the only help I get for teaching science is an outdated (1990) textbook that is too difficult for my students to read and a website from the state listing what I'm supposed to be teaching. I am lucky to have collected over the years materials and means of my own for helping my students understand and participate in science education. The best of luck to the rest of you.
