volcanoes
By tb

Clip to ScrapBook
I make a volcano with my students by using a small pop bottle and forming dirt around it into a mountain. Then I put some baking soda and red food coloring in the bottle. I add some white vinegar to the bottle and we enjoy the reaction. (It is very messy, so this needs to be put on some kind of a tray.) The more baking soda and vinegar that is used the bigger the reaction.
