    I've been to a bunch of interviews, and the one thing I've learned is that they don't want to tell their second/third choice people that they do not have the job until they've hired their first choice. It's their way of covering their own .

    So, while that may not be completely promising, you are still in the running and still have a chance. I've been offered positions weeks after they say they're making the choice, so it was obvious that someone else turned them down first.

    It seems to be an epidemic in education. Good luck!
