materials and their properties
By fiona

Clip to ScrapBook
we made rubbings of different materials that make up the school building, using plain paper and crayons. that enabled children to handle the different materials and talk about their properties as they make rubbings. these can be made into a chart that shows the object and the rubbing and added labels of the properties of each material including the name of each material. it worked very well, and can be adapted according to ability.
good luck
