Human Body
By Michelle Weber

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Jennifer! I am also doing a human body unit- and like you, I have very little in the way of classroom resources, so I'm collecting activities and ideas as I go. A really good resource that I've found is the theme series
book from Mailbox 4-6 on Human Body - I believe the book was $7.95 and it is excellent - lots of hands-on activities, plus teacher information. I plan to have my kids taking notes because I think it's good practice and an important life skill, so that extra information will be helpful.

There are lots of websites out there - way too numerous to list - do a web search using human body

as your topic and you should find lots of information. If you can't find anything, e-mail me directly and I'll send you some.

I also bought a great CD-rom game "The Amazing Human Body" on Ebay for $8. It's really great and I know my kids will love it. Lots of information presented in a fun way.

Good luck! Michelle/5/IA
