wiggleworks
By Vanessa Crawford

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Susan,

My school uses wigglesworks also. I have a class set in my room as well. The children like to read the stories in the classroom and then read them on the computer with the musci and voices etc. It is a great multi-levelled
program whereby the story can be automatically read to the children along with soud effects or the child can click on the sentence and have it read to them phrase by phrase or the child can try and read the story on his/her own and if he/she comes to a word and is unable to sound it out they can click on the word and the computer will read it to them. It works great for all
members of the classroom from special needs right on up to the advanced children. the children can also play with a magnetic letter board and can write their own stories. For those who say they don't know what yo write about the computer will give a sentence starter for the child to use. The children like to write sentences and draw pictures to go along with them and print them to take home. As the teacher we are in charge of which books the children have acess to and can change them once the children are familiar with them or tired of them. I really enjoy this program as do the kids. Great choice!!! Happy reading!!

Vanessa
