Following directions

Love the ideas so far!
One thing I do is a following the directions center. I provide the directions and materials but no example. The kids have to make the craft according to the directions on the page (this is for 1st grade). Maybe your kids could write directions one week (or day) and then follow the student written directions the next. You could put out craft books or catalogs to get their creative juices flowing and see what happens!
