Wow! We need to start a 5-ft club. (laughing) I'm exactly 5ft myself and am very worried about getting respect from my kids during my TOSS and Student Teaching this year. I'm going to be teaching in the middle grades (4-9th grade) so I do keep wondering how I'm going to be able to control my class. Is it better to just be mean? I definitely don't want to have to be.
