Here are some questions that I asked my cooperating teacher when I met with her in June.
Hope they help!

What time would you like me to arrive?

When and how will I be given responsibilities?

What do you expect from
me as a student teacher?
In what form should I prepare lesson plans? Does the school have a specific lesson plan format?
What is your class schedule like? When do the kids go to specialists and what do you do during that time?
What units are covered?
What is your classroom behavior management plan?
Do you have a classroom aide?
Does this school have good parental involvement?

I begin to prepare lessons, when is a good time for me to show you my ideas?

Can I interact with the kids from the start or wait for your instruction?

Can I email you on occasion in order to keep up communication?
