Student Teaching
By Natalie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Kathi!
First of all, you will be fine. Actually, you will be great. You will find out what you are really made of. I student taught last Fall and I was a wreck. I'm not going to lie to you, there are a lot of things
that you are not prepared for. I had no idea how to order and send down a lunch count or establish my own set of consequences for misbehavior. It's scary and it's frustrating. But you can do it. You will succeed because you want to, because this is what you love to do.
This is my first year teaching and yes, I am sweating bullets. But I know I will make it through. Positive
attitude is key. You have to keep that frame of mind and be a model so that your students will follow.
If you have any specific questions throughout your experience, feel free to email me. I know what you are going through and I wish I had someone there for me.
Good Luck :0)
