Hi
You can prepare your introductory letter that needs to be sent home to the parents. Maybe just the rough draft since your cooperating teacher or the principal will need to approve it but get that going.

Also a
nice way to introduce yourself to your new students is through a picture board of yourself. Just take poster board and some pic's of you, your family, your pets, things you like to do and make it into a display board with little captions under the pictures. The kids will love it because they always want to know more about you than what they see each day.

As for preparation expect things

to take twice as long as you think they should. And now that I've said that some things will go much more quickly than you could imagine.

Good luck and be prepared to not hear about your placement until the last minute!
