I am a mother of 3 children. I decided to go back to college when mine were 5 and 7 and I was pregnant with the 3rd. You have several options. One question I have is if you have some college credits behind you. I did and I was able to find Regents College The University of the State of New York to give me credit for all of my past courses and I clepped some courses and took the rest of the courses through distance education. I was able to complete my degree at home. Then I went through alternative certification which is a one year program that you go through while you are a first year teacher. There are several options to consider. But don't give up on your dream.
