5th grade sweethearts!
By Jen

Clip to ScrapBook
I had experience with 3rd and 4th graders before my student teaching assignment. I was thrilled to be placed into a 5th grade class. But, I was paranoid about the itty bitty first graders. Needless to say, I loved both
experiences for different reasons and kids will be kids. In a nut shell, 5th graders want so badly to be 12 and in the 6th grade. Depending on the school system, sixth is either the end of elementary school or the beginning of middle/junior high school. They want to be the cool kids, more mature students in the school or graduates of the school. You'll find that they are so willing
to help you and the tattling is practically gone. Fifth graders are awesome! Good luck and have fun! If you like to joke around they will catch on so quickly.
