Clip to ScrapBook
Don't expect too much of your student teacher in the beginning. Give her a few days to learn the students names and become familiar with the class and the classroom. Most likely they will be very nervous but just give them a chance to adjust to their role. Obviously they can do simple things but let them get comfortable before they begin to do daily lessons. This will be less stressful for the student teacher plus it will let the children get to know her a little.
