student teacher

I just completed my student teaching and one of the greatest things is that my coop. teacher did is instill trust in me. She gave me some guides, but set me free. I quickly gained confidence and virtually replaced her (temporarily, of course!). I think many coop. teachers can not let go. I was very lucky. It all depends on how competent the student teacher is, but most of us come well prepared.
