end of yr gift

Clip to ScrapBook
I also just finished. This is what I did:
I bought pencils for each student that had "I survived Mrs.Burkart's student teaching!" on it. I also have poems that I gave to each class..
Dear ...
You’re a very
special person
And ... you should know
How I loved to be your teacher
And how fast the year did go!

We did a lot of special things-
We learned, we laughed, we cared
I always will remember you
And all the fun we shared!

As through the grades you go,
Try hard to learn all that you can
There is so much to know!

The one thing that I tried to teach you,
To last

your whole life through
(every where you see ... you would inser the child's name)
I found this one on the internet. I changed 1 line by eliminating it. It just said something like Please come back and visit me or something to that point.
You could have them printed on cardstock paper and make book marks out of it.

Hope this helps

Trish
