    Clip to ScrapBook

This is what I used last year. Most of these things won't apply to your school, but maybe it will give you ideas.

    Open House Checklist

____ Make sure your parent has signed in.
____ Be sure and take the note about the Family Fun Night Basket. Your parent can fill in out now and put it in the tray or take it home and bring it back tomorrow.
____ Let your parent see the booklets about how to help you do better in school. Take any booklet that you would like home.
____ Show your parent lunch count and your magnet.
____ Let your parent see our class library. Remind them that Miss B. has a wish list in the book fair.
____ Show your parent Target Math and tell them which problems are the most difficult.
____ Show your parent your locker.
____ Let your parent find your desk.
____ Explain to your parent what your data folder is, and show them.
____ Look through your portfolio. Be sure to put all the papers back inside.
____ Show your parent your cowboy journal and your cattle drive folder. Explain how the game works and what you are learning.
____ Take your parent out in the hall and show them your cowboy.
____ While you are in the hall, be sure to read our class mission statement on the door.
____ Take a tour of the school. Show them all the places you go like computer lab and rotation classes.
____ Stop by the book fair. Show your parent your favorite books.

My child has taken me on a tour of Bransom and shown me all the things listed above.
