Teaching in Vancouver

I am a second year teacher in the Vancouver school district and I personally love it. The staff I am on is very supportive and I have a great principal. The only draw back I see, at this point, is that the district is going very traditional in its teaching of reading and writing. Besides that, I know there are a lot more job openings now then there were a few years ago and we definitely need more substitute teachers. (PS - I was lucky and never had to substitute teach. I have two other friends that were the same) Good Luck!
