I've taught children with behaviour issues for 3 years and regular ed/inclusion classes for 2 years. One thing that I've enjoyed using is the raffle ticket. I hand them out when I see children following directions, doing thier best, and trying. There will be times when I am working with a small group and I'll praise people (Jimmy, I like how your sitting with your hands to your self... if I have a wiggle worm who is not sitting the right way...) I praise children who are and then reward them... it's immediate reinforcement of good behavior.I've had a classroom store in the past and this year, I have a class raffle. It depends on the needs of your class/ stundet. Maybe you can play with the idea and see what works. Also, I agree... if you were to make a pre-made form and just check off boxes, that would make your life a lot easier compared to writing notes every night.... Good luck, and I was of some help.
