difficult classroom By Michael

I understand how you feel! I have been struggling with classroom management throughout the semester. This has been pointed out to me by both my supervising teacher and by my evaluators who come to visit. I have been trying| to make progress in this area, but sometimes it's one step forward and two steps back! Learning to manage a classroom is deffinately a process-even the best teachers had to start out as new teachers and had to learn how to deal with difficult students, so don't give up! To give you an illustration, I'd like to share a bit about where I am at. I have seven years of experience working | | with kids who have severe emotional and mental health issues. I have been very a very effecitve staff and I have plenty of recommendations from my collegues for my work with these kids. However, the classroom is different and I am in the process of learning all the little in's and out's of classroom management. Hang in there and just remember to give what you try time and keep the lines of communication open with your teacher, your professors, and any othe experienced teachers that you may know! Go for it!Mike
