I subbed for a tech teacher once. It was for a fifth grade class so it may be a little different. All they did was word processing on the computer. It depends on the teacher. Sometimes they get to do free time where they
can do games and other things that you have to watch out for. Sometimes they have to do educational things the whole time. One thing you have to be careful about is that if they do get on the Internet that they do not get into any unauthorized sites. The regular teacher should have some parameters. One thing that I realized with the fifth graders was that they type at all different

speeds which makes finding things for those who get finished early a challenge. Hopefully the teacher will have ideas for early finishers but if not I would bring something or have an idea about some fun web sites. Good luck.
