It sounds like this teacher may have been embarassed by her poor plans. Something may have been said to her about them. This teacher may not have a very good track record.

You, however, were absolutely right in asking for help. If you didn't, the day would have been a miserable waste of time and energy for all. Don't get too upset by it, unless you don't get calls anymore.

I am in a semi-rural area outside of Chicago. My pay is around $77 a day. I can make more in high school and in rougher areas. The high end is $115.
Subs need a bachelor's degree.
