    That was me. Not sure when you start school. I start tomorrow. I can take a picture if you want and post it. Here is how it is made...
    I took a piece of poster board (I used blue). I laminated it for durability. I loosely stuck brads through where each set of apples will go. I have enough for 24 students I think. Mark where you will put the brads for the number of students you will have at most. Poke your brads through. On each laminated apple I use a hole punch and punched two holes overlapping near the top of the apple so that it easily fits over the head of the brad without tearing. I use the number system with my students. ABC order is 1, 2, 3 etc. So I number each apple so they can easily be put back later on the chart in the correct place and so that I can use them for several years or until they tear. So closest to the poster board you put on all the brown apples, next will go yellow, then green and lastly the red so the red is now on the front. When your chart is done you should see rows of numbered red apples because the other apples are underneath. I love this system because I can easily see from across the room who is still on red or not.
