Pull out all the activities you collected in the fall and organize. Remenber that at the beginning of the year the students are going to feel you out to see what they can and can't get away with. Be strict yet have a good time. The students see subs as a day off from their teacher. Once you are in a district or school a few times, students will ask for you and so will the teachers. Word will get around if the students like you and you will be called back. Remenber, it's easier to keep control of the class if your more strict in the beginning and ease up slowly.
