Math Die Cuts (Ellison)
By ccteacher

Clip to ScrapBook
I would recommend math die cuts. These make hands-on learning so easy at school and are great to be able to send math manipulatives home. Also, PTOs tend to love requests for things that the whole school can benefit from. For example:

geometry "nets" (that fold/unfold into the 3D shapes) *the cube can be used to create dice!)
pattern blocks so that the kids can create and glue patterns (can also be sent home for homework)
tangrams, pentominoes (same reasons as pattern blocks)
base 10 blocks (because you'll never run out again! And the kids can glue them down to "show" their work or use them at home)
fraction sets
clock faces/hands (can be put together with brads):) I wish our PTO would ask us for a wish list. Boy, do I have WISHES!
